Dr. Marius Hermanns joined Gen Re in July 2023 as Pricing Actuary. He works for the Life/Health Research and Development department in Cologne with a special focus on Gen Re’s annual mortality investigations in the German market and the impact of climate change on Life & Health insurance business. Further, he supports Gen Re’s business units in designing and pricing of products. He is a member of the German Association of Actuaries (DAV). Marius holds a PhD in Mathematics with a focus on stochastic modelling and data analysis from RWTH Aachen University. He obtained a double degree from RWTH Aachen University: a Master’s in Mathematics and a Master’s in Management, Business and Economics.
