Dave Nicholas has an underwriting background that spans over 35 years. He spent the first 10 years working for a direct insurer before moving to Gen Re, London in 1997. He was Chief Underwriter for the UK and Ireland from 2010-2018 and Head of Operations from 2018 to 2020. He is now Segment Chief Underwriter for the CUSAC region (Canada, South Africa, Australia, NZ, UK & Ireland).
