Manelle works as a Senior Underwriter in the Life & Health Claims Underwriting Biometrical Evaluation Services team in Cologne. She has over 22 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance across both Property/Casualty and Life/Health sectors in multiple global markets. She joined Gen Re as an International Claims Manager and is primarily responsible for underwriting risks in Gen Re’s MENA region, while also serving as one of the leading experts on travel risks. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Business School of Algiers, a postgraduate degree in Finance and Company Valuation from the University of Economics of Algiers, and a master’s degree in advanced Insurance and Reinsurance from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance.
