Dr. Himanshu Bhatia is the Chief Medical Officer for Gen Re in India, ASEAN, Hong Kong. He has over two decades of experience in insurance medicine, Life & Health product development, underwriting and claims and is part of the Gen Re team delivering COMET training modules in Asia. Himanshu is the Asia editor of the ALU journal “On the Risk” and Board Member of International Committee for Insurance Medicine (ICLAM). Himanshu holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Mumbai and a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan.
