Our 24-month trainee programme for academic graduates
This video gives you a detailed insight into our graduate scheme as an actuary or underwriter (d/f/m). In the video, you will meet the 'people behind the promise' - the passionate individuals who bring this program to life.
You will acquire specialist knowledge in all areas of property and casualty actuarial services, i.e. you will learn to analyse and value insurance portfolios as well as the fundamentals of specific lines of business. The spectrum ranges from reserving analysis in the context of different accounting rules, stochastic accounting rules, stochastic modelling in pricing and the calculation of capital requirements.
The Property & Casualty Graduate Scheme starts with a well-organized induction phase where you will learn the fundamentals of reinsurance and get to know your fellow trainees. Our team will support you throughout the program, helping you craft your personal and professional development plan and ensuring you maximize your potential—both during and after the program.
In a two-week training series, our focus is on both theoretical knowledge and personal development for trainees from Cologne and London. Alongside structured learning, there is opportunity for some fun activities to get to know one another. Additionally, each trainee is paired with a mentor and a buddy to assist with any questions and provide guidance.
