Joe is VP, Chief Underwriter - Individual Life Production, responsible for underwriting production and leading our team of facultative underwriters. He most recently served as Head of Underwriting Relationships for Individual Life. Joe is actively involved in the Next Gen Underwriting Group, collaborating on emerging trends in underwriting. He serves on the ALU Education Committee as well as the AHOU Program Committee. He frequently represents Gen Re at major industry events, including MUD, SEHOUA, AHOU, as well as the Gen Re client Advisory Council. Joe holds a degree in Business Management from Western Washington University and a Behavioral Economics Certification from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has often presented on Behavioral Economics. His professional designations include Certified FALU, FLMI, AFSI, ARA, and ACS.
