Jean-Marc Fix, FSA, MAAA, is VP, Actuarial Research & Development for Gen Re’s North America Life & Health division. For more than a decade, he's focused on the topic of mortality, and is active in a number of SOA committees centering on mortality and underwriting.
Jean-Marc is a member of the Society of Actuaries’ Reinsurance Section Council. He serves as chair of their Living to 100 Symposium, and he also chairs the Mortality and Longevity Strategic Research Program Steering Committee. He is a member of the Reinsurance Section Council and heads the Reinsurance Section Research team. He is also a member of the ACLI’s Genetic Testing Task Force.
