As baby boomers in the U.S. close in on their golden years, they’re looking for help from advisors and experts to manage their changing financial and medical needs. As we’ve discussed in earlier posts, this generation is living longer than the Silent Generation and dealing with more chronic health issues and challenges with retirement and financial planning. Many plan to remain in the workforce longer for financial reasons. Insurers who can find ways to target boomers with products and services that will meet their unique needs will be well-poised for the golden opportunity that exists with this active and engaged buyer segment.
