Portland, ME, January 15, 2009 …JHA is pleased to announce that John Cassell, founder and Senior Partner at Spring Consulting Group, LLC, will participate in the 2009 Dynamics Seminar program as a member of the Senior Leadership Panel on Friday, March 6, 2009. In addition, a new session focused on producer/carrier relationships has been added to the agenda on Wednesday, March 4, 2009.
As a senior leadership panelist, Cassell will share his perspective on the challenges and opportunities that exist for the U.S. voluntary/worksite insurance market. He joins Kevin McCarthy, President, Unum U.S., and Greg Oberland, Executive Vice President, Insurance and Technology, Northwestern Mutual, on the panel.
“John’s extensive background in benefit and healthcare consulting, for both insurers and employers, makes him a wonderful addition to our panel”, said Drew King, President, JHA. “Kevin, Greg and John offer our audience their unique perspective on what lies ahead for our products, during this recession and beyond.”
JHA has also added a session to the seminar program titled “Group Distribution: Relationships Matter.” Michael Chase, Field Vice President at OneAmerica Financial, will be joined by Colin Smoak and Trey McLaughlin, both principals at McLaughlin & Smoak, to talk about the long and successful partnership they built, why it works, and why it defies the "conventional wisdom" on producer/carrier relationships.
