Stamford, CT, January 14, 2009 - General Star Management Company is pleased to announce the introduction of its primary commercial auto Taxi Liability program to California. The program is offered through AequiCap Program Administrators and its affiliate, TransPro Solutions Inc., both of which are headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. General Star launched the program in October 2008 in Colorado, Virginia and New Jersey and plans to extend the program further to additional states through AequiCap and TransPro.
Coverage will be written on an admitted basis through General Star National Insurance Company, which is rated A++ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company and carries an AAA Insurance Financial Strength Rating from Standard & Poor's Corporation.
