With effect from 1 July 2008, the Cologne Re’s Supervisory Board has appointed three new members to the Board of Executive Directors.

Mr. Achim Bosch has been employed at the Cologne Re since 1993. On the Board of Executive Directors he is responsible for German property and casualty treaty reinsurance business, for which he has hitherto also held operational responsibility.

Mr. I. John Cholnoky is President of General Reinsurance Corporation, where he has been employed since 1981. On the Cologne Re’s Board of Executive Directors he is essentially in charge of property and casualty treaty business in the Asia/Pacific region, facultative business and claims service.

Mr. Jonathan Hewitt joined the Cologne Re in 1995. Following some multi-year periods abroad he returned to Cologne in 2007. On the Board of Executive Directors he is responsible for "Corporate Underwriting Services Treaty Non-Life" and retrocessions.
