Summary:
Die konkrete Messung der Inflation bei KH-Großschäden gilt als schwierig. Generell wird davon ausgegangen, dass die tatsächliche Inflation höher ausfällt als die Inflation der Löhne und Gehälter (Basisinflation). Die Differenz zwischen Basisinflation und tatsächlicher Inflation von Großschäden wird als Superimposed Inflation bezeichnet. Die Gen Re hat mögliche Einflussfaktoren der Superimposed Inflation identifiziert und deren Relevanz auf die Schadenteuerung von Schadenleitern deutscher Erstversicherungsunternehmen einschätzen lassen. Folgende Einflussfaktoren wurden bewertet: Medizinische Dienste, Schmerzensgeld, Punitive Damages, Vergütung von Anwälten, gesetzliche Rahmenbedingungen, Pflegekosten, Entschädigungstabellen, Zinsentwicklung, demografische Entwicklung, Medizintechnik/Medikamente, Verkehrs- und Fahrzeugtechnik sowie Heilbehandlungskosten.
