The PRimary Insurance Management Exercise (PRIME) is a computer-assisted exercise designed by Gen Re that allows participants to experience managing a “virtual” insurance company. Four years of management experience and results are condensed into a one- or two-day training session.
Participants develop an understanding of the consequences of micro decisions, the importance of structure and planning, and how input from various disciplines within an insurance company contributes to successful financial results.
PRIME is accredited by the AICPCU and the Insurance Institute of Canada for continuing professional development credits.
