P/C Treaty North America Manager - The Mutual Practice, Stamford
Berto Sciolla is the U.S. manager for the Mutual Practice - Treaty business and Executive Vice President. Berto previously managed Gen Re’s North America Treaty operation. He began his Gen Re career in 1984 as a Property Facultative Underwriter. By September of 2001 Berto was named Managing Director of Gen Re's London office, and in 2004 moved to Stamford as President of Gen Re Intermediaries. He currently represents Gen Re on the Insurance Information Institute Board of Directors.
