The German Corporate Governance code (“code”), which is formulated, regularly reviewed and modified if and when required by a government commission appointed by the Federal Government, constitutes the main statutory regulations which listed German companies are required to observe for corporate management purposes and, in the form of recommendations and suggestions, contains internationally recognized sound and responsible corporate management standards.
